In 2020, NuStar had another solid year in terms of safety performance.  Our 1,408 employees worked 3,219,902 hours with only six recordable injuries and four lost-time injuries.  And as in years past, we performed substantially better than our peers.

  • Per Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) comparison data, NuStar's Total Recordable Incident Rate (TRIR) was over seven and a half times better than the Bulk Terminals industry average and more than twice as good as the Pipeline Transportation Industry average
